About this listing
It’s time to move the loved Aliner to a new home, we had it since 2019 and enjoyed wonderfull trips with it. Reason for selling is getting ready for full time grey nomad live with a bigger van. This van is hardly seen around Oz due to having a double bunk and double bed. There has been some additions and modifications which makes this van perfect for off grid camping but still nice to go into caravan park if you prefer this. Additions are as follow: 2nd battery with 3000w inverter, solar charge controller MPPT, electric jockey wheel attachment to the already existing normal jockey wheel, toolbox with gas bottle department and wet storage gear or what ever you like to put in there (not water proved but still ok to use with things like a diesel heater or other bluster), second 12v outdoor connection to allow fan connection from both sides of the van. Ready for diesel heater connection externally, this helps prevent diesel stink inside the van. One bright LED light to help lighten the space inside if needed. Enderson cable on both sides of the van which allows solar panels to be connected to charge the batteries ( often you park the van in the shade but still want to charge the batteries, this is the way to go). The only thing I haven’t had the time to fix or look into it is one of the break lights sometimes it works and sometime it does not, this maybe easily fixed by a caravan electrician. I sometimes use RP7 on the connector and it works. This van has a 12v 130ltr bushman fridge which has only been used twice so far, and it’s the best you can get as 12v fridge with most efficiency. The fridge is retailing for $1700.- This way you generate less heat in summer than with a 3 way gas fridge and don’t have the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning or leaks in general. Please google the fridge and you understand the benefits of it. The fridge can also be connected to the rear boot 12v plug while driving. The van is 2007 model and has always been garaged since I had it. It has some wear but nothing which cannot be replaced or repaired if you are a handy person. I just have been to Coober Pedy in August without any problem (4000km trip). Some parts have been replaced when the new fridge was installed (vents) and they stand out a bit because they are bright white still but all vents can be easily replaced if you like doing some handy work. I don’t touch what is still working. Of cause the most important thing is always the drive terrain and no worries here all has been replaced with new parts and other than bearing greasing no worries. The tires are all in great conditions including spare and they are BF Goodrich truck tyres for that extra piece of mind when traveling. The breaks are all fairly new as well and the caravan does not need a break controller as it has an overrun break which slows the caravan when the car breaks. I used it with 3 different vehicles NISAN Xtrail, Musso XLV and now the MUX Isuzu never had any issues and all cars did it with ease. I’m sure there is some question remaining, please message me and I will try to answer your queries. I prefer to sell it locally in Melbourne or surround, no interstate or tow truck pick-up. You come and see and that way you know what you get and if I’m happy with the deal their maybe some extras in it as well. Transaction will be completed when funds are cleared.
