About prices on VANTURE

VANTURE is a marketplace that connects buyers with private sellers and licensed dealers of caravans, campervans, motorhomes and related recreational vehicles across Australia. We do not set, verify, or guarantee any price displayed on the Platform. Prices are provided by sellers and should be treated as indicative only.

Buyers should always confirm the final price, inclusions and any additional charges directly with the seller before committing to a purchase.

Drive Away / No More to Pay

Where a price is displayed as “Drive Away” or “No More to Pay”, it means the advertised price is intended to include dealer costs and government charges such as stamp duty, registration transfer and compulsory third-party insurance (CTP).

This price is indicative only. Government charges vary depending on the buyer’s state or territory, registration status and individual circumstances. Always confirm the final drive-away figure with the seller.

Excl. Govt. Charges (EGC)

Where a price is displayed as “Excl. Govt. Charges”, it means the advertised price does not include government charges such as stamp duty, registration transfer, CTP insurance, dealer delivery charges or optional extras.

This is common for new vehicles advertised at the manufacturer’s recommended retail price (MRRP/MSRP). Buyers should request a full breakdown of on-road costs from the seller.

Private seller pricing

Private sellers are not Licensed Motor Car Traders (LMCT) and are not required by law to include government charges in their advertised price. The price shown is the seller’s asking price for the vehicle only. Any costs associated with transferring registration, stamp duty or insurance are the buyer’s responsibility.

Dealer — New vehicles

Prices for brand-new vehicles from licensed dealers may be displayed as “Excl. Govt. Charges” or “Drive Away” depending on the dealer’s preference and applicable state legislation. Some dealers may show “Price on Application” (POA) where pricing depends on specification, options or current promotions.

Dealer — Used / Demo vehicles

Used and demonstrator vehicles from licensed dealers may be advertised as “Excl. Govt. Charges” or “Drive Away”. The pricing type is indicated on each listing. Buyers should confirm with the dealer what is and is not included in the advertised price.

Price on Application (POA)

Where a listing shows “Price on Application”, the seller has chosen not to display a price publicly. This may be due to customisation options, state-specific legislation or pricing that varies based on specification.

Buyers should contact the seller directly, providing details of the specification they require and their state of registration, to obtain an accurate quote.

Starting price / From price

Where a price is displayed as a “starting” or “from” price, it represents the base price for the lowest specification available. Options, accessories, dealer delivery and government charges are additional. Contact the seller for a full price based on your chosen specification.

Recently sold prices

VANTURE displays prices of recently sold vehicles where the seller has voluntarily disclosed the sale price. Sold prices are provided as a market reference only. They may not reflect the final negotiated price, any trade-in value, or additional terms agreed between buyer and seller.

Finance

Finance options displayed on the Platform are provided by third-party finance partners. VANTURE does not provide financial advice or act as a credit provider. Finance is subject to lender approval, terms and conditions. See our finance page for more information.
