How often should caravan gas be tested?›
A gas leak test and certification is mandatory annually in most states (and required at registration renewal in some). The check covers regulators, hoses, fittings and appliance pilot lights. Cost is typically $80–$150.
Can I refill my own LPG cylinder?›
No — Australian LPG cylinders must be filled at licensed dealers. In-date cylinders (within 10 years of stamp date) can be exchanged or filled at most servos and caravan parks. Out-of-date cylinders must be re-tested or replaced.
