David's Caravan & RV Parts & Accessories - Malanda

We would highly recommend David if you are chasing spare parts for your caravan or RV. We were able to get the parts we require and also, through David’s recommendation, came away with some spares. He has a really great knowledge of spare parts requirements for the traveller. David’s a really nice person and would highly recommend.

David assisted us with replacement of our awning and provided advice and parts for anti flap and awning braces. He is delightful to deal with, great communication, great workshop and very knowledgeable. Our van was ready to go in half a day. Well worth the trip to Malanda for us from Port Douglas to get this done. No doubt we will see David again for some other upgrades to our van. Highly recommended.

Thank goodness for Dave, we found ourselves taking on water via deteriorated window seals and desperately needed help & advice. Dave was a wealth of knowledge, contacts and supplies to get ourselves sorted. Being new to caravaning, we were clueless about what was needed, but with Dave’s help we thought we’d be sorted soon and back on the road with peace of mind…..WRONG….Dave sold us a brand new caravan jack that his neighbour gave him to replace our Trailermate jack that did not have the attachment to change a tyre. After a near miss when this new jack collapsed sending our van to the ground almost with tragic consequences to myself and my hubby if we had not have kept the safety chain still on the vehicle. The manufacturer of this jack informed us that this jack was never to be used as a caravan jack because it’s not designed for that. When we told Dave, he didn’t apologise but defensively said he’d gone above and beyond for us…. So it seemed, but he also made money at our expense in the long run, and we discovered he was almost $40-$60 dearer than Cairns Caravan Accessories on his various supplies & products- very disappointed!

Dave is a man knows everything about caravan!! as new caravanner, we have no idea what we need and what we want!! but Dave showed us his knowledge of caravan, ideas and tips. just like a friend gave us right advice and told us his experience of traveling around Australia. he got a lots of caravan accessories pretty much everything you need in store, don`t need to order or go to cairns to get them. we got everything we need straight away in store. he fitted for us and showed us how to used them and how to look after the stuff. also so patience , answer every single questions we had, really appreciated all he helped us . we are very happy with BBQ porch and anti-flap kit. you made our home look awesome! thank you so much David. we are highly recommend this shop!!

We have just had our Awning on our Caravan fall apart. We are staying at Malanda Falls Caravan Malanda in FNQ & came across this card in the laundry rang Dave, he come that day measured up Tuesday & fitted it today Friday in the Christmas brake. Wow what an exceptional job he has done. He also had supply & fit spreader bars in the middle. He will be back on Monday to service the hot water service & put in a new Anode in it. I could not recommend David & Ken enough, they really know what they are doing. Thank you for your prompt service & friendliness. Cheers John & Kim
