Hinterland Caravans - Service & Repairs

WARING ON WARRANTY WORKS!! we had our great aussie caravans 21.6 go to hinterland for warranty repairs. We had a crack in the corner of one of the windows which was replaced by hinterland. They had to remove the awning bracket and sail track to do the job. Very rough job with silicone missing in some places and very little in others. They also didn't reinstall our anti flap brackets leaving holes in the side of the van! They did send replacement brackets but they were the wrong ones. Now they are saying they don't have the type we need and it's been silence ever since. Very dishonest business and rough workmanship.

I called Hinterland to get some advice and was blown away with the help I received from the lovely Warranty lady, Danni went above and beyond to help me. I hadn’t purchased my van from them but Danni was more than happy to help me and point me in the right direction. I am very great-full and happy with the service I received over the phone with Danni. Highly recommend.

We picked up an AOR camper sold through Hinterland on consignment. As we live in WA, there was a lot of telephone discussion with Max, who was patient and helpful. They had done a 100 point check and everything had been brought up to AOne condition. Handover by Marty was friendly, thorough and helpful.

Poor service. Took our new van in for warranty work, most of it not done. They didn't do the jobs that we were happy to pay for either. Warranty manager doesn't return emails/phone calls and customer service is non-existant. 3 months and they still haven't sent emails to our manufacturer as promised.

Extremely disappointed. Took our caravan in for service which included checking and repacking wheel bearings. We took the van to another company for wheel alignment, 10 days later. The bearings were loose and needed attention at extra expense. The manager at Hinterland did not have the courtesy to return calls.
