TeWaaka Mobile Caravan Repairs

Messaged TeWaaka mobile caravan repairs about a week before I’d be in Townsville. Codi guided me through the phone / video calls how to diagnose the issue myself to see if it was a quick fix which was amazing customer service. I then had them come out and look at the Van today and they fixed my issue (Snowy River were no help, just wanted to replace with a new one!), they explained everything and advised me on a few other concerns I had about the Van. Really great service, very happy, highly recommend!

Well done, Codi! Thank you for replacing our caravan brakes & fixing the TV antenna cables. Your alertness & knowledge picked up that the springs ( fitted 2 weeks prior ) were the wrong size. Thank you for organising with the previous business to cover the cost of refitting the correct springs by you. All work was done in an efficient & timely manner & a smile!

On a long and fairly quick trip from Adelaide to Cairns and back, one of my camper trailer wheels started to develop a fair bit of heat after only mild braking, plus some groaning sounds at low speed. My guess was a sticking brake drum. It was tough finding a mechanic to look at it at short notice in either cairns or Townsville, but Codi agreed to do an inspection at his premises, and he confirmed that there was a indeed a brake issue which had scored the drum and damaged the linings on one of the two wheels. He also noted that the bearings on both wheels were in need of servicing, and found that my AlKo suspension was in serious need of grease. I requested that Codi overhaul both brake and bearing assemblies with all new components.He was able to do all of the work in a few hours that same day, and gave me plenty of tips on proper camper trailer maintenance. I considered the overall cost pretty reasonable for the new parts and Codi’s labour plus that of his offsider. Fantastic service overall, and I was able to confidently resume our holiday along the Qld coast and eventual return to Adelaide

Thank you to Nomad Caravan Repairs for recommending Codi, when one of my stabiliser leg bolts snapped and I needed it fixed asap. Less than 24hrs later it is done, welded tight and as new. Very reasonably priced, even offered to wait for an online part if I preferred. Cannot recommend highly enough, plus you can visit the stunning local parks and the pinnacles while you wait!! Win win!
