Do not trust these people with your job! I booked in my van they said it would be a 2 month wait. 5 days before I was supposed to drop it off they rang me and said we have to BUMP you. No , we will put you in for another day ,then they said they couldn’t get the aircon unit . Very unprofessional!

Extremely Poor Service I contacted Vango for an insurance repair and ultimately chose not to proceed with them due to the experience. The communication was extremely poor, the pricing felt heavily inflated, and the staff were extremely rude throughout the process. There was a complete lack of care or professionalism from start to finish. After reading many of the other negative reviews, it’s clear my concerns were valid. If this is how customers are treated before a job even begins, I can’t imagine what the repair process would be like. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend Vango for caravan insurance work or repairs.

The worst. Brought in a battery (Dometic PLB40) for a charging fault (both DC and AC). They called demanding I pick it up "ASAP" — it's "done." Except: * They found nothing wrong because they only tested DC charging (which occasionally works). * They never tested AC charging — the actual problem — because they don't have the cables * They specifically told me NOT to bring my cables when dropping off * Now they want me to drive 1.5 hours to deliver the cables so they can actually diagnose it So to recap: they told me not to bring what they needed, declared it fixed without testing the fault, then want me to make a second trip to do the job properly. Staff act like they're doing you a favour by accepting your money. Take your gear for repair elsewhere.

They more like changing really simple things like changing the light inside the fridge if not turning on; they’re not a repair shop and you have to pay upfront arounf $70, which I couldn’t understand what happened to that after they couldn’t fix it and my fridge didn’t have any scratches on it but when I got it from them it was covered with a scratch and like full of dents it looks like they dragged it underground and kick it. It’s better to go to somewhere else not them. I’m not recommending them at all. Thank you for your response. I understand the issue may have been a refrigerant leak, but my concern was not about expecting a free service. It was about paying a $75 upfront fee without clear communication of what happens to that money if the fridge is not repairable. In my case, the fridge was returned to me with noticeable new scratches and dents that were not there before, which was very disappointing. Also, you mentioned the fridge was not repairable, yet another technician was later able to fix it and now it works. This makes your explanation sound questionable and leaves me feeling that I was misled. I don’t want to be rude, but to me this comes across as unprofessional and unfair to customers. That’s why I cannot recommend your service.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I called ahead to get a quote for an aircon install and hot water system in my caravan and was told to bring it in so their technicians could assess it. After driving there, the technician didn’t even step inside the caravan. Instead, I was told everything would be “too expensive” or “wouldn’t work.” No alternatives were suggested, and every question I asked was dismissed. The attitude was rude, belittling, and unhelpful. Very poor customer service — absolutely no effort made. Would not recommend.
